Bioinformatics Scientist
I am currently the Director of Analytics at Rancho BioSciences. This means I get to work with an amazing team of bioinformatics and data scientists while leading the way into an AI revolution. I'd love to hear from you if you're passionate about what you do and have a certain set of skills.
I am fiercely passionate about R programming, tidyverse and building interactive applications to gain insight into complex biological problems. I'm also a fan of Python and bash coding. BTW, did anyone notice you can move these text blocks yet?
Classically trained as a cell biologist I have studied everything from cancer biology in grad school at UCDavis, infectious diseases during my post doc at the NEIDL, next generation sequencing in industry. These all come into play while supporting a range of research domains, but currently my main focus is Immuno-Oncology. This provides plenty of opportunity to play scRNA-Seq, TIL deconvolution, and differential expression analysis.
